mrscpbeal Posted June 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Are you allowed to decorate your state room or state room door? My baby girl will be turning 7 and my niece 16. My baby girl is the reason we decided to cruise to Mexico. She's excited to practice her Spanish. [emoji4] I would love to have a sign or some bday decor for them while on the cruise. I also requested a birthday cake. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cb at sea Posted June 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Yes, you can...but don't use tape or tacks....use magnets, so as not to mar the door or walls.
gingersvp Posted June 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2017 For our cruise, I paid the $35 fee to have the room decorated for us. This way it will be all decorated when we arrive and I don't have to try to pack the decorations.
Bernie by the sea Posted June 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2017 We always visit the dollar store and get some decorations and magnets. Glue the magnets to the decorations and all set. You can also get "magnetic sheets" for our inkjet printer and print your own. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

SuiteTraveler Posted June 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Google "Cruise ship door decor" to get some cool ideas. Are you going on a Disney cruise by chance? If so, they do this thing called Fish Extender you need to find out about! Hope you have a great cruise!

Underwatr Posted June 28, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Last Christmas I learned that our door (on QM2) wasn't made of steel, so a magnet wouldn't stick. The adjacent wall was steel so we stuck our little decorations there.
cbelc Posted July 30, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Buy a birthday decoration package and supplement with your own decorations using magnets on walls and doors. Sent from my iPad using Forums
