Roofire Posted June 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2017 So logged into the cruise planner today, and it is now showing a negative outstanding balance? In terms of background, the cruise was booked via the RCI website from the U.K. for a JS. The balance was paid in full in May. Has anyone else experienced this? U.K. booking so we're not expecting any price matching? Is it a IT glitch or have we been downgraded? Does downgrading happen? Not sure whether we should leave it a couple of days or ring them up? Zedinc Posted June 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2017 It's a glitch on the web site and it's been happening for about two weeks now. If you're paid in full and have received the confirmation about it, you should be fine. Biker19 Posted June 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2017 Is it a IT glitch or have we been downgraded? Does downgrading happen? No and virtually zero chance. IT glitch.

Peewee14 Posted June 18, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2017 The negative balance as far as I know is pre paid drinks or dining packages etc, I am guessing the ship needs to process this at the time of embarkation so it kind of shows as OBC then they add whatever it is you have paid for when you check in which uses up the negative balance

We are cruising in about 2 months. Everything has been paid including two drink packages I ordered for our cruise. I also have a negative balance for the exact amount of the drink packages
