MrsPugwash Posted June 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2017 Thinking of booking this trip as we don't fancy walking round Athens in the August heat and from memory Piraeus isn't the best of places to spend a day. Anyone been on this trip who could provide some feedback or have any alternative suggestions please?
sueandphil Posted June 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Could have been some help as we are on board Oceana at the moment and had this trip booked but P&O cancelled it due to insufficient demand. Hope you have better luck than we did Sent from my iPhone using Forums
DolphinWatcher Posted June 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Hi. We did this trip last year. I would recommend it. I had a 15 year old and 9 year old with me too and they both enjoyed it.

Clodia Posted June 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 29, 2017 I have done this trip; it's about an hour by bus and the temple is interesting; we had a good guide. It's certainly a LOT cooler than Athens or Pireus. I would recommend it; I think we got some Greek refershments before heading back to the ship. Seem to remember ouzo, cold water and little meze or snacks.
