Hurricane Cindy coming towards Houston/Galveston area this weekend

Since we always cruise out of Galveston so we can drive, I have to say that driving through Houston is the only part I do not like. I wish they could build a highway that you could just get on and fly through Houston without stopping. We always get messed up because we are in the wrong lane. I guess that is just part of the experience!

Sorry to disappoint everybody, but TS Cindy landed last night and is heading up the Mississippi. Heaviest rains are now in Tennessee. So while some cruise ships diverted from Cozumel to Progresso this past week, TS Cindy isn't going to impact arrivals or departures in any Gulf Coast port this weekend. And once she's gone, for the moment all is quiet. Have great cruises all.:)

Ok. I stand corrected. Tropical Storm. I know when I was on the FOS, our whole itinerary was changed because of a Tropical Storm. We were to go east and it was changed to west. Royal Caribbean did an awesome job of taking care of the situation. The news is saying that Bolivar Peninsula is going to ride the storm out, so we will see what happens.

 

 

You made a bunch of people happy though. So many live for the chance to show their superior knowledge by correcting people. In this case they could have seen in the title and didn't have to read the thread. Yes, you made many people's day.

Biased weather reports? That's a stretch man. It's just a weather forecast, not a grand conspiracy.
