lydnsyd Posted June 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2017 We hope to book a balcony cabin on the Eclipse but looking at the deck plans - the cabin diagram shows that it is a Connecting Cabin. Are these cabins connected from the inside or the outside? I'm hoping it is the latter. Thanks
BourbonNBluesLuvr Posted June 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2017 Hello, The Eclipse connecting cabins have the outside vestibule connecting configuration. The Reflection is the only S Class ship that has the interior connecting doorway. Enjoy BBL
Chonga Posted June 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2017 The outside. At the entrance an additional external door can create a lobby if I recall. You can also have the balcony opened up if you want. There is no internal door in the wall between the cabins, personally never had an issue of extra noise or anything if interconnecting. upwarduk Posted June 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2017 If you do a search there is a thread called 'The Grand Tour' which has quite a few photos. Here is one showing the connection in the corridor.
nh2820 Posted June 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 29, 2017 Hi We had one just like that in November 2016. No real extra noise, but did open the door one morning as neighbour was coming in with coffee. Put it this way, he headed back for more. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
lydnsyd Posted June 30, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted June 30, 2017 Thanks for your replies - that is what I was hoping for. The only time we had a connecting cabin (internal) the couple adjoining our cabin were constantly having loud arguments late into the night - it was probably a one off situation but I don't want to risk it. Happy to book a connecting cabin with external doors. Appreciate your help in putting my mind at rest
