I have not been on a Norwegian cruise in 3 years..so room service is a fee? for everything? Even a pot of coffee and some rolls in the morning?

No fee on continental breakfast.

There are about 3 different continental breakfast menus being used across the fleet. You can always get coffee and pastries. Other items depend on your ship.

 

You can order a hot breakfast (or any other food throughout the day) for a $7.95 delivery charge.

It's per order. In addition to continental breakfast items being service-charge free, the fee is also waived if you purchase an extra cost item on the room service menu. (Or at least it was when we last sailed NCL).

I believe the room service fees are waved if you sail in a Full-Suite (not a Mini-Suite). A TOP to the delivery person is still in order though.
