Ecstasy Daily Schedule

Hello All

We are leaving on Ecstasy on 7/17/17 and have a couple of questions.

1. What night is elegant night (lobster night I like to call it)?

2. Will there be a past guest cocktail hour?

3. Are you able to pay for an excursion on board or does it need to be prepaid?

4. What is your opinion of the on board entertainment?

Any help with the above is appropriated.

Thanks

How long is your cruise? If you go to carnival website FAQ there is a portion that talks about how many and what night the lobster nights are. I'm going on a 4 day cruise 2-5 days there is 1 lobster night on the second night.

You can pay for excursions on bored in most cases you can always get them from the island as well not via carnival.

Don't have much info about the entertainment....I typically do the comedy shows, attend Karaoke and 1 show depending on what's being offered.

I am going on the Ecstasy 7/8/17. Carnival does not have lobster on 5 day cruises anymore. Have elegant night but last 5 day cruise I was on no lobster which is fine with me because I don't like it.

Past cocktail parties are now only held for platinum cruisers and higher. And even then I think on only 5 days and longer cruises.

Fantasy class ships does not have all the new bells and whistles but you should have a good time.

Just got back from a 5 day on the Ecstacy. Formal night was the 1st sea day, we received a free drink voucher for the last night instead of cocktail hour, we booked an excursion while on board and the entertainment was good...we especially liked the comedy shows and The Brits show.

Was on the Ecstasy last month. 5 day cruise. There was a past guess function for Platinum and diamond. And I thought the entertainment was good. I liked the ban that would play in the casino. Not sure if it will be the same as yours. Both comedians were funny, although yours will likely be different. And the shows were the shows. Meaning, typical Carnival production, so you can decide if that is good or bad.

1. Elegant night will be your first sea day. You will only have lobster if it is a cruise of 6 nights or longer; however, you can purchase the lobster any night from the Steakhouse Selections of the MDR menu.

2. The Past Guest cocktail hour is only for Platinum/Diamond passengers. If you are Gold, you will receive a coupon for a free drink on the last evening. Anything below Gold ... enjoy your free water in the cabin.

3. You can book excursions on board at the excursions desk. You are taking the chance the excursion that you want will be sold out.

Looks like the other replies have covered the bases. Just wanted to say we'll be on the same sailing with you! I went ahead and booked our excursions because the ones we want seem to be for small groups and I wanted to make sure we got our spots!

YAY...I can't wait.

We booked one excursion with carnival but the other (Nassau) with another company. It was much cheaper and good reviews. Can't wait for the party and all the fun.
