Did this flight a couple of years ago, plane is enclosed, not all that chilly ,but we had our coats on as not place to hang them, also any bags you take on board go into the cargo area at rear of plane,as space between and under seats is a bit cramped

I'm taking the 5 Glacier Seaplane excursion in August. I'm really looking forward to it. Hope the weather is good. How much snow is left on the mountain tops in August? All the videos I've seen were done earlier in the season when there's still snow everywhere.

I don't remember the inside of the plane being chilly, but I do remember that you're tight on space. Whatever jackets we had on, I'm sure we left them on for the flight.

I enjoyed the flight over the Mendenhall Glacier field a lot. Looking down, you saw all that snow, with the blue of the glacier peaking through here and there where the snow had either melted or blown away. Very nice.
