terrybiz Posted July 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2017 Hi all, I have always turn to CC for advise, I feel its my turn. We are currently sailing the July 2nd western Caribbean itinerary of the Equinox. Amazing ship and having a great time. Our ship is our destination, as we been to all ports many times! I'll try to answer questions about the ship and its polices. I donot have unlimited internet access, so I'll be on and off the board.

Rare missthesea Posted July 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2017 Great! Thank you! I'll be interested to see what you think of the MDR, as it gets mixed reviews. Also, anything about the kids club you notice - or at least do kids you see seem happy onboard. Any shore excursions? Your favorite place to curl up with a book or a drink? Have a wonderful cruise!! terrybiz Posted July 5, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted July 5, 2017 We don't have kids, but the ones I saw seems like their having lots of fun. They had a July 4th party and the kids did a parade.
WB57 Posted July 5, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2017 Hello - thanks for the 'live' report. By chance, are you dining at the Luminae restaurant? If so, I would appreciate any recommendations on any particular waiter/waitress that have provided outstanding service. Thank you.
bandrproductions Posted July 5, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2017 Would you say that you can just stay on the Celebrity Equinox and not leave the ship for 7 days and still have a fun time? I guess your experience is what you make of it, but I am just wondering if this is the case for Celebrity Equinox. I was on the ship in 2015, but on a very port intensive cruise in the Mediterranean. I am now considering just taking the cruise in a balcony cabin in the Caribbean, but am leaning towards not getting off the ship. Thanks! terrybiz Posted July 5, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted July 5, 2017 The best time on the ship is when in port, everyone is off. You feel like you have it to yourselves. Food is a matter of opinion, I feel its good considering the mass production

What type of table games to they have besides blackjack and roulette? Any let it ride poker or 3 card poker tables. Also do you have a drink package of any kind? Have a great time and enjoy the ship! terrybiz Posted July 5, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted July 5, 2017 Yes, I've been in the casino, love to gamble. They do have 3 card poker, texas holdem, besides the regular blackjack, roulette, and craps. They even have single deck blackjack. As a matter of fact, I'm up $250, as of now anyways. Cant say I'll come home with it

matondo Posted July 5, 2017 #13 Share Posted July 5, 2017 I just posted the same question that just got off the Equinox but since you are "LIVE" I know you can find out the answer. Are they still airing episodes of Top Chef and if so what season are they showing? What movies are the showing on the in room entertainment? Thank you in advance? What kind of cabin do you have we'll be in a balcony on the slant looking forward to it. Besides the movies on the TV that they randomly show are there pay per view movies? Thanks again and have a great time.
Kh1221 Posted July 6, 2017 #15 Share Posted July 6, 2017 If you get a chance, could you take a picture of the wines by the glass in the classic and premium packages? We are sailing in August, looking forward to it but not sure if we should bring a bottle or two that we know we like. Thanks! OhJinkies Posted July 6, 2017 #19 Share Posted July 6, 2017 I just booked my first Celebrity cruise for next April on the Equinox! I'm curious about how warm it is in the Solarium during the day. From the photos, it looks like there's not much air circulation in there! I'm hoping to find some nice spots on the ship to sit in the shade, enjoy the fresh air, and read. If you have any suggestions on places to go, please share! Thanks! Sent from my iPad using Forums

absolutboy20 Posted July 6, 2017 #21 Share Posted July 6, 2017 I just booked my first Celebrity cruise for next April on the Equinox! I'm curious about how warm it is in the Solarium during the day. The Solarium is air conditioned and the most comfortable place to be even if it is blistering hot outside on the outdoor pool deck. There are some windows that can be opened by the crew to bring in a little more fresh air.

He usually finds a chair on the Promenade deck on which ever side is facing away from the sun. I'll be on EQ in September again, so can scout out inside venue's. I know we love Cafe al Bacio.
