Miracle 11/20/05 (Thanksgiving) review

Tom:

We have 4228 & 4230 booked for our August cruise on the miracle. I have two questions.

1. Does 4230 hold 3 people? We are thinking of taking another one of my sons friends if this cabin holds 3.

2. How old are your sons? The reason I ask is that my son and his friend are 19 and 20 and carnival called me to ask why they would be in 4230 without a 21 year old. When I read the terms on the cruise agreement it said they could be in that room as long as their parents were on the ship.

I thought that since the room was adjoining this would not be a problem. The PVP agreed it would be fine and booked it that way, but the next day I got a call from Carnival questioning the room assignments.

I told him they were adjoining rooms but we have two different reservation numbers that are linked together and that these are my children. He said that he would note it and it would be ok. But now I am worried.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Lyn

First off - let me say... GREAT cabin choice ;)

Both of those cabins only accommodate TWO people...:(

Our sons are 13 and 18. It was never an issue, other than discussing that is was our kids - they said no problem.

We have even sailed in the past where our cabins were next door (not adjoining) and there was not a problem. It was a different issue when our son brought a friend. That time we had to (for booking purposes) have Cheryl in one of the rooms, and I was in the other. We switched room keys after boarding (but that was on a ship where the Sail&Sign card and room keys were separate...)

Were you in 4228 last year?

Have a GREAT cruise!

Thanks for the info. I guess if we decided to take another friend we will have to chose another cabin.

I have never stayed in 4228. I chose it from your recommendation.:D

From your fabulous review it sounds like you had a great time.

I see you spent a great amount of time in the casino which is what we usually do, could you possibly remeber what video slots they had there?

Yes, but most of my time is at the Blackjack tables... (99%). When I do play video slots, all that I play is video poker. I seem to recall 25 cent machines, but I think those required TEN units for max bet... Sorry I could not be of more help!
