Cruise Planner?

Sailing Liberty after long absence from Royal, and things have changed somewhat. Do you or should you pre-book specialty dinners and whatever else ahead of time? We have MTD and not sure if we choose a time before we cruise or just show up when we want to eat each night like we do on Carnival. Any advice is appreciated.

We always do MTD and we rarely make reservations. That is why we like MTD, it is for the flexibility. We normally plan dinner around shows or whatever and go to eat when we feel like it. Never do we wait more than a few minutes.

If you have a party of two, I don't think reservations are needed, you can probably show up whever you want.

However, if you have a large party, say 6 or more, then I'd try to make reservations.

You will save money if you pre- book specialty dinners, they have packages for 3-4 or 5 nights, also Giovanni's was 21 online before cruise and 30 on the ship 5 night package comes to 21 per meal Chops was 39 on the ship
