Rare JIMESOPUS Posted July 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2017 Didn't see this posted. For those who like a sneak preview. Quick review. Really easy sailing out of Boston, used the port parking lot on the other side. They have a shuttle that will take you and luggage to the terminal and back. Terminal itself, somewhat dated but clean and fast. The Dawn was very clean, had no issues in the cabin, room steward kept our cabin clean and tidy. Bars - most of them closed down by 1130 pm, O'Sheehan's 1 am, Bliss and the casino later. Seem to have more premixed drinks. Restaurants - La Cucina great location on deck #6, food and service great, Cagney's - service was OK, better second time - food fantastic. MDR's average, better service in Aqua. O'Sheehan's fast service and food was good ( great viewing of the whales on the last sea day ). day1.pdf day2.pdf day3.pdf day4.pdf

fiftyguy Posted July 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2017 Our extended family was on same cruise. We all had a great time and weather was good with only one dreary day on the way back. We ate in LaCucina, Cagney's twice and Los Lobos - all good. We were surprised how good the Chinese resturant was. Really sad to be back home. Thanks - https://bostonparking.spplus.com/Destinations/Boston-Flynn-Cruiseport-Parking.html We pre purchase, cost was 134 for the week. Arrival at the terminal was around 1130 and I think it was about 1 hour wait to board

We're sad to be back home from our June 9th Bermuda cruise, so we just booked the Dawn's 14 day Eastern Caribbean Oct 26th, 2018. Something to look forward to. The best thing is that it's Boston to Boston round trip-------no flight or hotel expenses for us.

One can't do them all. Boston to Boston is so easy. I'm trying to talk DW to do Bermuda this September. This past cruise was with family and we do love to cruise with just the two of us.
