Kids food choices at specialty restaurants

I have the Ultimate dining package. Plan on taking my kids to the specialty restaurants. I see the charge is 10 per kid, and that they eat from a "special" menu? Is this right? I have one picky eater who will be happy with this and one that will want to eat what I'm eating. Will they charge me the full price or will the 10$/child fee cover her meal?

Anyone who's sailed recently with kids have the answer for me?

Seems to vary, They are supposed to charge full price if the child orders off the adult menu, but I've seen several reports where they just charge the $10.
