Does anyone know why Carnival only has cruises in Europe for April next year? Are there plans for the summer?

Carnival debuts its new ships in Europe and then moves them to the US. That's their business model. From what I understand, the demographic for Carnival doesn't include a lot of people who want to spend the money to fly to Europe for departure. Heck, many passengers don't even have passports.

I believe it has to do with money also. I guess the Vista spending the Summer in Europe didn't work out; so the Horizon is only spending a month there. The good news is I'm on one of the sailings!
