keithm Posted July 16, 2017 Author #51 Share Posted July 16, 2017 It's not always possible but I try to minimize this problem by dining early which means less people having a chance to contaminate anything. Not a bad idea.
keithm Posted July 16, 2017 Author #52 Share Posted July 16, 2017 In MDR they are served like drinks :) (not my photo) Nice... And selections are richer than in buffets. I also like Princess MDR setup with sofa seats. Is this a drink or a soup? If it's a soup, I've never seen it served that way. I'd love to see someone get a Gazpacho down through a straw! Potstech Posted July 17, 2017 #53 Share Posted July 17, 2017 They serve several " cold soups" in this way depending at dinner in the MDR. Have seen them on just about every cruise we have taken. They are very refreshing.

Times Prince Posted July 17, 2017 #55 Share Posted July 17, 2017 Have not been on the Royal or Regal yet, going on Royal in October... so will have to check out the buffet. We feel the same way about the buffet on Celebrity Lines... we no longer go to the MDR on Celebrity... like the buffet way better. We had great experiences with the buffet on Royal Princess - and the food was kept hot, not just warm. We especially liked the themed food. On our last 10 day cruise on Royal Princess we never ate in the MDR at all. No reason to.
