Allure in August and Air Conditioning

We'll be in the Western Caribbean on Allure this August, and I've read in a few threads that the a/c can be pretty cold in the main dining room. I'm just wondering about the other interior areas of the ship. I'm one of those people that's always cold, and I'm most comfortable when the a/c is not on full blast! Obviously I assume it'll be nice and warm in the outdoor areas, and we can control the temp on our cabin, but what about restaurants, shops, casino, hallways, etc.? Will I need to dress in layers or carry a sweater with me everywhere I go?

Temperature/level of comfort are very subjective. Your cold may be my warm. I'd suggest you go prepared for the full range of temperature possibilities.

From your description, I'd say you'd be well advised to have a sweater or shawl available. Better to have it and not need it.

Some people find that the theatre is cooler in the evening. You may want to bring a sweater or something if are susectible to cold.

I don't tend to be cold but I was freezing in the main theater. Oddly enough I found the ice rink theater to be comfortable. I won't cruise again without at least a light sweater for the theater just in case.

ALWAYS TAKE A SWEATER- it is always cold at the ice show and other shows-where do you live? It will be very hot outside in August-might be a shock to you if you normally live in a cold area.

I'm always cold in the MDR. Go to the gift shop the first day. They have wraps in many different colors for about $15. I don't leave home without one.

Amber theater was freezing. I always bring a shawl or sweater with me
