Room service cheese plate vs "gift" cheese plate?

Recommended Posts

They are the same. I've done both on the same cruise, and they were indistinguishable. Slightly cheaper to order in advance unless you are in a suite. Room service price is (or was last time I checked) 32.00 plus the 7.95 delivery charge (unless you are in a suite, then no delivery charge) so non-suite room service is 39.95. Order in advance I think is 37.00. If in a suite, though, cheaper to order on board.

If you are in a suite you just request your butler to bring you a nice selection of cheese and crackers. There is no cost.

True, but for the difference between my "fire sale" balcony & a suite, I could buy a LOT of cheese plates and take another cruise.
