Desdichado62 Posted September 10, 2017 #26 Share Posted September 10, 2017 I agree with DV. I also use sneakers as my regular shoes. White sneakers might not be that common but that is because white tennis shoes are more popular. I am no fashion expert though and tennis shoes might qualify as sneakers? ljandgb Posted September 10, 2017 #27 Share Posted September 10, 2017 Ack, wear, not where. I think what you call them is regional. Tennis shoes, sneakers, etc.
Pstreet12 Posted September 17, 2017 #28 Share Posted September 17, 2017 You can wear shorts if you like, but if you want to blend in a little, I'd suggest you don't. In Europe and Scandenavia, adult men don't usually wear shots unless they are running or playing soccer. That has been our experience also. Americans stand out, and generally, not in good ways in regard to their attire. At almost any tourist site, glance for the worst dressed, and they are generally, very obviously, Americans. I'm from England and wore tailored shorts, polo shirts and RL deck shoes in most Baltic ports. Sent from my Kestrel using Forums mobile app
