duegwb Posted July 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2017 Has anyone stayed at either of these hotels? I understand the buildings are connected. I am trying to find the pros and cons for both hotels. Any and all information is appreciated.

Rare markeb Posted July 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2017 This thread needs to go to Florida Departures, which will probably happen. I've stayed at the Marriott. Nice hotel. Primary decision making for me was I'm Marriott Platinum and have no status with Hilton. So Marriott! But, yes, they are connected by a small shopping area with a coffee shop and the like. The Marriott is a typical Marriott. If you have a bayview room, you have a great view of the bay.
Rare Peachypooh Posted July 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2017 I have stayed at the Marriott. Really loved the views and also the breakfast buffet was way above average. Very short trip to the cruise port.
beachys Posted July 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Also stayed at Marriott, loved it! The restaurant was great at night for drinks and also breakfast. The best part about the room was the balcony!
