On Pride, can you see east coast lighthouses?

Going on the Pride out of Baltimore this weekend. This is the first cruise we have taken that leaves from a north-east port.

Was wondering, when the ship heads up or down the east coast, is the coast within view? I have a good long range zoom lens and was thinking about trying to get some pics of some of the lighthouses as we go by (if they can be seen).

I'm pretty sure that in order to open the casino, they have to be in international waters (correct me if I'm wrong). International waters is 12 nautical miles off the coast (13.8 lateral miles). I'm pretty sure it's too far to see land, otherwise it might be just a sliver in the distance

We've sailed out of Baltimore a couple of times and you can see lighthouses going down the bay.

We printed a map of them before going so we'd know where we were and what we were seeing. Going up the bay is done during the middle night so you can's see much once you enter the bay..

If you are referring to lighthouses along the coast of NC, they are not visible. A few years back we cruised on the Pride over the 4th of July and I posted a similar question wondering if we could see any fireworks. Folks who responded suggested we are about 80 miles off the eastern coast and if the captain could do it, could possibly cruise a bit closer to the coast to get a far off glimpse of the fireworks from coastal towns, but we never say anything.

Don't know if it will be much of a photo op, but just as the Pride is going across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel heading out of the Chesapeake Bay, the Cape Henry lighthouses could be visible, even at night when we'll go by. I THINK the newer, black and white lighthouse is lit at night. It will also be around 1am when we go by.

I did not see any lighthouses when I cruised Pride from Baltimore down the bay. I did see a lot of fantastic scenery though. I had an aft wrap balcony suite and got some great photos from the balcony. See attachment for one. Coming back to Baltimore you can't see much until it gets daylight.
