getaway101 Posted July 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Can anyone tell me the smoking policy on the Queen Mary 2? Are you allowed to smoke on your balcony and in the bars, etc.
Host Hattie Posted July 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2017 No smoking on balconies or anywhere indoors. There are outdoor designated smoking areas.

Salacia Posted July 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Cigar and pipe smokers were welcome to smoke in Churchill's Cigar Lounge . Didn't really pay much attention, but I seem to remember it was there last December when I was onboard...is it gone now?

resistk Posted July 31, 2017 #8 Share Posted July 31, 2017 Most of the cigaret action is on deck 7 aft.
balf Posted July 31, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 31, 2017 Where is the logic in not allowing cigarette smoking in Churchills. David
abefroman329 Posted July 31, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 31, 2017 Where is the logic in not allowing cigarette smoking in Churchills. David Because it would be jam-packed if they also allowed cigarette smoking. I'm old enough to remember when smoking sections in bars and restaurants (both indoors and outdoors) forbade cigar and pipe smoking.
LB_NJ Posted March 11, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Most of the cigaret action is on deck 7 aft. Does this mean there isn't cigarette smoking mid-ship on deck 7 promenade? I am concerned because I have a balcony cabin on deck 8.
abefroman329 Posted March 11, 2018 #12 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Smoking is not allowed on the deck 7 promenade or on any balconies. Smoking is only allowed in a tiny, open, unsheltered area well aft of any cabins other than the suites. We happened to hang out at one of the tables where they allowed smoking to watch the sun set, and it was so sparsely populated and airy, it was barely noticeable.
