dpostman Posted August 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2017 (edited) if you were on 13 and which would lessen your chances from noise above? we do sleep somewhat normal hours and are not out partying all nite and do like to sleep in till 8 or so If you like the solarium on Anthem and plan on spending time there, there are the "secret/discrete" passages to get there from the 13th deck forward cabin area. That is a HUGE short cut. The few times that we went by there it was quiet but we did not stop to sleep there;) We (A group of about 12 or so) did spend a few late evenings in the solarium just chilling and at around 10pm it was dead quiet in there. There may be some cleaning and stuff going on in the early hours of the day but it is very quiet up there at night. Hardly anybody around. EDIT to add: One thing to consider if choosing a deck 13 very forward balcony: The observation deck accessible from the solarium sticks out over the bridge and will block the forward view from the balcony. Also depending on privacy preferences, the balconies of the first 3 or 4 rooms are sort of in plain view to anyone on those observation decks. dp Edited August 3, 2017 by dpostman

Are they on both sides? Could you use them from deck 12 or do they only go to deck 13? Deck 12 has fewer rooms forward than deck 13 (not sure why... captains quarters?). Thanks! dpostman Posted August 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 18, 2017 dpostman, Where are those secret passages? Are they on both sides? Could you use them from deck 12 or do they only go to deck 13? Deck 12 has fewer rooms forward than deck 13 (not sure why... captains quarters?). Thanks! Yes, they are on both sides, but only accessible from deck 13. Here is a visual aid to get there. This (Most excellent) video made by a fellow CCer shows you exactly how to get there. It also has lots of good info as well. The info for the passage is just after the 4 minute mark. dp
