Full day before flight

flight doesn't leave Miami till 9pm celebrity have excursion round Art Deco region then Spanish lunch with drop off about 3pm. Is this the recommendation or are there other options? Any help much appreciated

I'd rent a car and plan a full day. Sitting at the airport for 6 hours preflight would be a waste of a nice day in the area.

I would either do the tour or go with renting a car.

 

If I went with the tour I would just plan on having a dinner at the airport and there are several nice restaurants there.

Car rental might be the best shot if you feel like planning out your travel for the day... Tour is better if you want no-hassle. You can always finish the tour, drop off your bags, then uber somewhere for a couple of hours.

We usually get a day room near the airport and have also used the hotel inside the airport. It's nice to have a lazy lunch and a shower and change of clothes before the flight, especially if the weather at home is a bit cooler than Miami !
