BURNS1 Posted August 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2017 (edited) The beverage package per day is $55 if you purchase ahead. Do they charge more if you purchase onboard? I called RC and got the runaround and no answer. Edited August 9, 2017 by Host Clarea

For our upcoming Anthem cruise, purchasing the Deluxe package in advance was down to $39 per day, and has been holding at $43 per day for weeks. Bundled with VOOM it's $49 per day. Thanks for the info. How far out was it down to $39? And where do they offer bundling? I don't see it? We are on Freedom in Jan 2018.
Clarea Posted August 9, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 9, 2017 ... And what is VOOM? VOOM is what Royal calls their internet access package.
Andy C Posted August 9, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 9, 2017 I have a $250 on board credit and have been debating whether to buy on board or pay the $54 a day for the drink package + voom on Harmony for our cruise at the end of August. Should I wait?

Platinum Bob Posted August 10, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 10, 2017 Doesn't matter, if you see a lower price you can cancel and re-order. FYI....Last week I went online to purchase our Drink Packages for an October Harmony trip. I received an error message while processing, so I had to call to order. I had $100 OBC available that I could have used, but when talking with the rep, he told me that if I canceled the drink packages, I would be refunded the out of pocket money to purchase, but I would not get back the OBC. I asked him multiple times to clarify in the event I did not understand him. I ultimately purchased without using the OBC, in the event the price drops. I was a bit surprised that I would not have been credited the OBC.

There has been more than one report of cancelled purchases that had used OBC immediately going back to OBC.

nicstress Posted August 10, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 10, 2017 I don't think anyone pays $55 a day prior to the cruise. It always goes on sale. Use your OBC for something else. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Forums mobile app

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Forums mobile app Our October on Oasis has been at $55 for several weeks. It had been $46 then jumped overnight and hasn't gone back down. The deluxe + voom has always been $59 and has never changed. It seems our last to cruises on Allure and Oasis the package has been about $10 more on board that what I got pre-cruise.
