Sydney boarding time?

Recommended Posts

We are Diamond Plus and were assigned 11:30 am boarding. They do check your boarding time. We were delayed until 12:30 because of extra cleaning that needed to be done due to GI outbreak on the prior cruise. They pay attention as once inside the terminal, there is paperwork you have to fill (exit visa) out before they'll let you upstairs to check-in. The line wrapped around several times.

Anyone know how early RC board at Sydney? Explorer

In Sydney they board according to deck number. Those in suites & high crown & anchor levels can board at anytime. Generally the higher the deck you are on the earlier you can board. Check your cruise planner for more information.

If there is a line when you go to board, you can drop your luggage off and then go for a walk around circular quay. Find a nice pub or restaurant for a glass of pre boarding champagne is nicer than standing in a line.

Plus once you are in the waiting area, you can not leave the terminal. This is one port where arriving early may not be worth it.

Good to know! We still have a long way to go before our cruise that leaves from Sydney but a few people traveling with us will be arriving from the US the day before and a slow morning at the hotel with a late checkout might be nice.

Not sailing until 2019. Would Diamond be considered an upper tier to arrive early? We are booked in a balcony on deck 7. We are also on a B2B, Will that be handled any differently?
