msk1955 Posted September 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Apologies if this has been asked previously, but what are the prices on Ventura for, say, a pint of Stella and a gin & tonic (Hendrinks for example)?
majortom10 Posted September 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2017 You will not get much change from £10.
cruiser1955 Posted September 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Stella is about £4 a pint. A single shot of gin around £3.25 - now a very wide range of gins available. Tonic about £1 a 150ml can.
majortom10 Posted September 1, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Just as an example from P&Os website pint of Peroni-£4-75, spirit + mixer £4-50, spirit on its own £3-25. I should imagine Stella would be very similar price to Peroni.

grapau27 Posted September 1, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2017 You will not get much change from £10. On RCI you would not get much change just for the pint. Sent from my Kestrel using Forums mobile app

grapau27 Posted September 2, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 2, 2017 Just got off oriana today and a pint of Stella is £3.75 Single Hendrix £3.75 double £5.75 tonic £1.65 or £1.95 Sent from my iPad using Forums Fantastic prices for a cruise ship where they have a captive market. P&O are not perfect but IMO their drinks prices are extremely competitive and i also get a seven and a half percent loyalty discount off too. A nice restaurant we go to in Gosforth charges that for a half pint bottle of Peroni. Sent from my Kestrel using Forums mobile app
doog442 Posted September 2, 2017 #11 Share Posted September 2, 2017 You can always take your own on to enjoy in your cabin / balcony ... might take the edge off your bar bill. I would say the prices are acceptable, they certainly aren't cheap although one could argue they are cheaper than other cruise lines (but you aren't travelling on another cruise line ). Peroni was good value however if that's your tipple of choice. House Red and Rose was also reasonable in price and tasted okay.
Maime Posted September 2, 2017 #12 Share Posted September 2, 2017 Normal bar prices _£5.00 ish a pint, £6.00 a cocktail etc. You are allowed to bring your drinks for the cabin. Ask the steward to clear the mini bar and put yours in to drink whilst in the cabin. I loved Azuroa had Perioni beer on draught - hard to find and expensive in the uk despite being much nicer than Stella etc
Britboys Posted September 3, 2017 #13 Share Posted September 3, 2017 Purely IMHO, I would say they are cheap prices. You are on a floating four-star hotel. Have a drink in any four-star hotel in the UK and see how much a pint of lager or standard Gin & Tonic cost you.

The prices on P&O are extremely good, and don't have 15-18% service charge added on top either! Sent from my Sony Z1 Compact.
