Last visit to St. Thomas we went to Coki beach. Snorkeling to the right was OK but the beach was so crowded by noon that you could hardly get to the water. How is the snorkeling at Magen's Bay or one of the other beaches?

We were at Megans Bay about 18 months ago, brought our own snorkel gear with us, and it wasn't worth the effort. Would not recommend this location for snorkeling, in the water for almost 2 hours and never saw a fish. The beach/bay is very beautiful but also gets very crowded. I am also looking for a good place to snorkel n St Thomas for this December hoping someone could recommend a good beach.
