"Guests who decide to cancel because their cruise duration has changed, will receive a future cruise credit in the amount paid. Please call 1-800 CARNIVAL, your Personal Vacation Planner or your travel professional." I've been on the phone on hold with Carnival today for 33 mins., 90 mins., and now 45 mins. and counting! It has been published that Carnival has evacuated their headquarters (as have other cruise lines). Given all the "headache" Irma is giving, plus the fact that calls are being routed to other call centers, along with call volume, a little bit of patience is needed. I'm pretty sure you do not need to call and cancel, as the cruise has been cancelled. You can call your PVP or TA (if you used one) or simply call Carnival when the phone lines clear up.
