Rare Keith1010 Posted September 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2017 I haven't seen one yet. However, I am sure that we will see news articles on this effort including one from Cruise Critic. For some lines it is easier because they have ships in the vicinity. For others they don't. Keith

Rare Keith1010 Posted September 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2017 Take advantage of the Power of Google. Here's an example. https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/cruises/2017/09/09/cruise-lines-help-evacuate-irma-ravaged-st-thomas/649621001/ Keith

That is what I was going to recommend. NCL is using some ships to evacuate people including going to St Thomas to evacuate tourists stranded there. I read somewhere that RCI is evacuating their employees and families. Haven't seen anything on HAL board about HAL helping. Edited to add: I was typing same time that Keith1010 was replying so I hadn't seen that article, just posts on NCL and HAL boards.
Nebr.cruiser Posted September 10, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 10, 2017 I have read that RCL and NCL are helping. However, remember that some cruise lines don't have any ships in the Caribbean this time of year.

Karysa Posted September 10, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted September 10, 2017 (edited) True, many of Royal's ships are in the Med now. There are lots of ways for us and cruise lines to help. They don't need ships in the area. Like many others, I have begun to do what I can do for now and have started a list noting what I can do in the future.
