UBP on Harvest Cay

With the realization our October Eastern Caribbean Cruise on Escape will now become a Western Caribbean Cruise... Can someone who has been on the cruise including Harvest Cay answer whether UBP is honored at the bar/restaurant on the Harvest Cay stop? Thank you....

We were there in April and it was not honored. I have read on recent threads that they no longer allow charging on your room card.

No it isn't, GHC is a joint venture and the restaurants are not run by ncl.

Thank you. Really didn't think it would be. Royal Caribbean (CoCo Cay) provided food complimentary a couple years ago.

But that is a private Island for RCI whereas Harvest Caye is not a private island for NCL but a joint venture with Belize.

When we were there in December, UBP was not honored on the island but you could use your card to charge. We had OBC and that wasn't honored for the charges from the island. I guess when they say On Board Credit - they mean On Board....

However, if you ever cruise stopping at NCL's other island, a private Cay in the Bamahas, which might be Irma damaged at the moment though, a large free food buffet is provided there and the UBP is also honored while on the Island. As someone mentioned, the two islands have different types of ownership.
