dtripli Posted September 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Hi All We will be sailing on Glory week long cruise the end of October. Is there anyway I can find out which nights will be formal nights? I think there are two on the week longs?....Maybe get a general schedule? bUU Posted September 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2017 FWIW, it's two per seven night cruise. What I did is scoured the web for past FunTimes for the same itinerary. What I found, at least for our upcoming cruise, is that they are generally on Sea Days, except if the Sea Day is the last full day of the cruise. We have a packed itinerary (four ports, so only two Sea Days, including the last full day of the cruise), so our second elegant night seems to generally be on the second to last night of the cruise, on a port day when we leave the port early (2PM). bUU Posted September 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2017 (edited) I found this thread that may help you find the FunTimes you're looking for: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2416559 If that's your itinerary (HMC, Sea Day, St. Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk, Sea Day), then elegant nights are on the third night (first Sea Day) and the second to last night (early departure from port-of-call). (Subject to change if your itinerary changes, of course.) Edited September 12, 2017 by bUU
Schoifmom Posted September 12, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 12, 2017 (edited) Generally, cruise elegant evenings are the first full sea day and the second to last day of the cruise. Edited September 12, 2017 by Schoifmom
A&Jfamily Posted September 12, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Cruise elegant evenings are the first full sea day and the second to last day of the cruise. This isn't always true. I have had them be on a Sunday and a Wednesday, if the port departure time on Wednesday was earlier than Thursday on a Sat- Sat cruise. I have also had it be the last sea day when it was Christmas.
