mrpayroll Posted September 13, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 13, 2017 Can someone tell me about Amber Cove..I hear there is no ocean just a big pool area....what is there to do there? Besides having the LARGE pool, there are two water slides that are complimentary. There is also a splash pad area for little kids to play in. There are two zip lines that are ( i think ) $20.00 to ride. ( all day ) There is a bar set way up on top of a hill and a shopping area. :)

There is also a splash pad area for little kids to play in. There are two zip lines that are ( i think ) $20.00 to ride. ( all day ) There is a bar set way up on top of a hill and a shopping area. :) There is also a complementary basketball court, giant chess set, and ping pong tables. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the slides (wear shoes to go up, it is a bit rocky and very hot. They let you slide down with your shoes in your hand) and the pool. We did several laps around the circle and played in the zero entry area. Did not see noodles or floats for rent. We brought a dollar store ring for my son (he is a good swimmer, but 4 feet is too tall for him to stand!).

mnp75 Posted September 14, 2017 #12 Share Posted September 14, 2017 The excursion to Ocean World is something to look into. It's a nice way to kill some time and you can still have time to look around at the port. It's nothing compared to Sea World, but not bad for $50 p/p. SusieKay Posted September 14, 2017 #14 Share Posted September 14, 2017 There is also a large bar/restaurant beside the pool and an area where live entertainment was provided when we were there in March. Sun loungers are free and plentiful, but there is minimal shade around the pool. Umbrellas are available to rent-$25/day. A&Jfamily Posted September 14, 2017 #17 Share Posted September 14, 2017 Amber Cove is a great port to get out and see the island. The 12 waterfalls was a true adventure. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
