zzlisa Posted September 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2017 Hi Questions - can the kids order off the adult menus if on dining package? They like more then mac/cheese and chicken nuggets. This is our first RCCL cruise with our 9 and 11 year old foodie kids. We were thinking of doing the 3 night dining package to do the hibachi, wonderland and ? Maybe the BOGO would be good idea too? They want to go have a fun experience with us at Wonderland, and the Hibachi, we are not sure what the 3rd location would be since I have seen bad reviews on Jamie's. We are doing the Harmony Thanksgiving Cruise, thinking one of these experiences would be more fun then Turkey in the MDR.
Clarea Posted September 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2017 They may have to pay adult prices if they order off the adult menu. This can vary, you may find they are still charged children's prices.
katiel53 Posted September 17, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2017 My understanding is that if the kids want the regular adult food, you would need to get the dining package for them. We had to do that for my 12 year old granddaughter, even though she was eligible for the kids meals as she just turned 12. Additionally, the Hibachi is NOT covered on the 3,4 or 5 night dining plan. It is in the very very fine print when purchasing the packages. I don't believe that there is a kids menu in there, so I'd plan on the $49 per person to dine there.
