catou2428 Posted September 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2017 What do you think of this activity? Too short tour of the galley or it worth the price? Sorry again for my poor english

catou2428 Posted September 21, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted September 21, 2017 We did this on the Harmony and it was a lovely experience, so informative. Thanks! Is it a long tour ? and hows the brunch?
p50lve Posted September 22, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2017 Maybe an hour, followed by the brunch, which was more like dinner with endless champagne. We asked about something we had seen cooking and our waitress brought out a platter of it for our table. Unfortunately it was almost the end of the meal so we were all full and only ate about half of it.
starrcards Posted September 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2017 We did it on the Jewel last February. Tour was about an hour and very interesting. Brunch was very good. Combo of breakfast and lunch foods. Unlimited champagne, mimosas or bellinis. Worth the cost.
premier cruiser Posted September 22, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2017 Cool Cruiser, we are sailing the Harmony next April. Would you please elaborate on the Bottomless Galley Tour. How much was it and what was the menu. Any information would be appreciated.
starrcards Posted September 22, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 22, 2017 The galley tour was $28 pp and our 10 year old son was free. Starters included antipasti, fruit, sushi, shrimp cocktail or mushroom soup. Entrees were a choice of Salmon, French toast, quiche or beef wellington. Cheesecake for desert. SRF Posted September 23, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 23, 2017 We did this on Grandeur. They had a menu that included breakfast and dinner items. And literally bottomless sparking white wine or mimosas. And they just kept bringing them. Biggest problem was getting them to stop. :) We came late, so ate, and got a personal tour that was very good.

Clarea Posted September 23, 2017 #10 Share Posted September 23, 2017 Do you book this online? Yes, should be available in the Cruise Planner if it's offered on your sailing.
CCC3 Posted September 24, 2017 #11 Share Posted September 24, 2017 Another question, is this offered on sea days only, or port days? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
starrcards Posted September 24, 2017 #12 Share Posted September 24, 2017 Usually the last sea day of the cruise.
starrcards Posted September 24, 2017 #13 Share Posted September 24, 2017 Yes, should be available in the Cruise Planner if it's offered on your sailing. Bob, I've never seen it on the Cruise Planner. Usually it is offered in the dining room by the head waiter the night before the last sea day.

SRF Posted September 24, 2017 #15 Share Posted September 24, 2017 On Grandeur, it was the first sea day. Sold while waiting to board, and at every dining sales table and people walking about the pool deck.
CCC3 Posted September 25, 2017 #16 Share Posted September 25, 2017 On my cruise planner the cost shows $35 per, but it can be included as part of a dining package, apparently. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
