Hurricane Damage to Many Caribbean Ports

We are set to sail on the Oasis of the Seas on October 8, 2017. Is anyone else concerned that this will be a cruise to no where since most of the ports that can handle the larger ships have been damaged?

There's no concern. You're going to Nassau instead of St. Martin.

To put it in perspective, I am sailing next month from a "damaged" state and cruising to another port in the same "damaged" state, and than going to another port that was "damaged". However, the good news is the ship is not damaged, and the beer will be cold and I won't be at work.

There are still ports that can accommodate the Oasis class. The Western itinerary is pretty much open - Cozumel, Labadee, Falmouth. Nassau is still open. Not as many choices as before, but still options.

Oasis sailing that left today is doing Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya.

We leave next Sunday and have had multiple port changes. Right now scheduled for Nassau, Labadee, and San Juan. Expect we may get San Juan swapped for Falmouth.

Considering there is almost no power on the island, trees & powerlines down all over the place, spot flooding, and major damage to buildings...I doubt San Juan will be ready for visitors/port stops for a while...
