not really .... if you check out Google Earth or Maps you'll see that no hotel is water front in the immediate port area and the hotels that are close are not very tall so you can't see over the other buildings that are there ... so best you see the tops of the larger ships .... maybe from the top floor of the new Homewood suites???? Have not seen anyone report on this ..

Best bet is to go to the beach including Jetty Park area. BUT be aware that the ships come in EARLY .... often parking around 6 or earlier .., from a distance so you can sea the ships come in from sea and sail thru the jetties.

Some of the beach side places in Cape Canaveral or north Cocoa Beach will afford a view of the port entrance

best view can be via the web cam - when it is working ....

MUCH easier to watch ships departing from one of the many bars along the south side of the port ....

We always stay at the Radisson at the Port. https://www.radisson.com/cape-canaveral-hotel-fl-32920/flcocoa

If you go out by the pool area and look between the hotel and their small gift shop, you can see the ships coming in. When we've been there, it's still dark when they come in but you can see the lights on the ships.

Then if you go to the back of the hotel and look to the right, you can see them pulling in to the pier. In both cases, they are probably a mile away but you can still see them.
