Leaving from Barcelona

Just be aware that if there are a few cruise ships docked and disembarking and embarking that it can be chaos getting there! Last year it took our taxi over an hour to get to the port when it was only ac5 min ride from our hotel!

If there are multiple ships disembarking passengers then I wouldn't recommend going before 11 so that the disembarking crowds are about gone.

Personally we like to arrive closer to 12:30 so by the time we check in and board the ship the cabins are ready. Never liked the crowds jamming the buffet and wandering the public spaces toting all their carry on luggage waiting for the cabins to open.
