Excursion Promo code

Booked a excursion. Saw a place to enter Promo code. Does anyone know were to find these codes?

There have been few reports about this field on CC. No one has reported being able to use the field, as far as I have read. A few have reported that there are no codes to enter in the field.

Perhaps it's for future use? Perhaps it is for the rare times when there is a tour included with a promo? Your guess is as good as any.

On RARE occasions I have had an offer that includes a small discount for excursions. In general, it was about 5% and was on the less popular excursions. When you book with this type of promotion you get an offer code as I recall.

I had a promo code on a longer European cruise last year, 5%, and excursions had to be booked prior to sailing. It did save some money overall, but the there was a lot of OBC that had to be used. The promotion also paid the hotel service charge (which OBC would have been used for.) For some tours, I did wait and book on board, even though it was a few dollars more, just to use the OBC. I think HAL wanted to get a jump on how many tours would sell prior to boarding, or they want you to use the OBC for shops and Spa Services.
