steelcity5044 Posted October 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2017 I've never had this happen before but always wondered. What would happen if you booked a cabin for two but only one person shows up and boards? I know nothing is refunded but is the person onboard allowed to stay onboard and complete the trip? Are they allowed to embark/on board check in without all cabin passengers present? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
Sauer-kraut Posted October 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2017 Happens quite often, its called a no show and there are no penalties to the cruiser who does show up. The port charges will be refunded for the no show and that's about it. Since the double occupancy was fully paid for there is no 'single supplement' needed. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk Won't work if the guest that shows is under 21, since there must be a guest 21 years of age or older. Taxes/port charges for the missing guest would be refunded, along with anything that was pre-paid like the Daily service charge, or the promotional 18% on dinner/beverage package, or shore excursions pre booked and paid for. Casino Comp Chick Posted October 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 15, 2017 What if its a CAS booking cruise and the person who is a no show is who the casino certificate is under? Or any other type of special booking situations Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk CAS has the right to charge full value for the room if the gambler who was comped the room is a no show. The whole point of the comp is they want the player back on the ship, the secondary person is just a courtesy to the player.

Yup taken from Terms "Valid only by named individual", "CAS player card member must be present onboard or Norwegian will charge full cruise fare for the stateroom".
