tanyaewa Posted October 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2017 Looking to do a Pacific Coastal. For a BD or BC or BB - which deck is preferable? IS a BA of BB very much better than a BC or BD?
Working 2 Cruise Posted October 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2017 It's all about location. Also, it isn't a suite, just a balcony cabin.
Pam in CA Posted October 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2017 Caribe deck is preferable as the balcony is much larger. A “B” cabin is just a standard oceanview cabin with a balcony. The second letter refers to location. Mid-ship is considered better but that’s subjective. The cabins themselves are pretty much all the same. skynight Posted October 27, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 27, 2017 Cat. BD on deck 10 is the best buy. Almost all balcony cat. cabins have the same interiors, the difference in cat. is location.
satxdiver Posted October 27, 2017 #6 Share Posted October 27, 2017 The staterooms on the caribe deck (10) have the larger balcony but same size stateroom as the 3 decks above it. The balcony is half covered by the decks above and half uncovered such that the pax in the decks above can look down and see you. A lot of pax including myself love the caribe deck because of the larger balcony.
