Price drop after final payment??

That's not true. A fellow cruiser also called for the upgrade. She was willing to pay up to $700 more for the upgrade and she was denied. The same day I called. They currently have about 10 Jr. suites available but she was denied an upgrade.

That's usually because the price you see is for new bookings only - RCI has been getting strict enforcing that.

She could have paid more.

The pricing close to sailing may be for new bookings only.

In that case, to upgrade, you would have to pay the difference between what you paid and the full price of the upgraded cabin.

And they may NOT actually have a certain class available, as they might be guarantee cabins, that are not yet assigned.
