Fort Lauderdale overnight on ship

We arrive in port Everglades in January, in the morning and have an overnight here before we disembark the next day when we transfer to Orlando.

Any suggestions what we can do in a whole day? How do we travel from the port? Are there taxis? Water taxis? Scooters for hire??

When we were here for the day a few years back we did the Everglades.

Should we see the beaches? What’s the temperature like then?

An overnight in Port Everglades? That is very rare.

 

Any of the standard tourist things commonly discussed here would be fine. One of the common things discussed on this board is the tons of taxis there. Uber and Lyft are available and cheap. The water taxi is a fun one.
