Flight home from MCO at 8pm. What can we do?

Hi everyone. We leave our ship at Port Canaveral and fly home from Orlando but not until 8pm. At the moment we have a transfer booked from the Port to the airport but don't want to spend all day there. I have 2 13 year olds who will need to be occupied for the day...any suggestions? Carnival don't seem to have any excursions post cruise available.

I believe the Hyatt, located inside the Orlando airport has day rooms available (the website says from 10:00am-6:00pm). They have an outdoor heated pool that could keep two 13yr olds busy.

You'd need to rent a car, but there are plenty of things in the Port Canaveral area that could interest 13 year olds. Kennedy Space Center, Brevard Zoo, Tree Top Trek, to name just a few.

Rent a car and go to Kennedy Space Center. It's awesome!
