zdub86 Posted November 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2017 Going on our first NCL cruise tomorrow, we are very excited to compare it to Carnival. On our Carnival cruise back in February they gave us a "fun times" card each day that lists the shows and activities for that particular day. Didn't ever have to reserve a seat for these or anything like that. Does NCL do anything similar? Will we know what's going on each day? And is it recommended to book a spot for these shows or would we be okay showing up 10-15 minutes early to get a seat? Norwegian Pearl to be exact, if that matters. Thanks!! Oakman58 Posted November 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2017 Every evening the room steward will put a copy of the Freestyle Daily in your room. It will outline the activities, shows, dining times, etc. for the next day. Since you are sailing in the Pearl you will be able to show up 15 minutes before the theater show and get a seat. On the Epic, Getaway, Breakaway, and Escape, reservations are recommended for the theater.
poohdreaming Posted November 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2017 Yes, you would get a copy of the Freestyle Daily in your room in the evening with a towel animal. And if you participate in any trivia or staff activities, remember to get an activity card & have the staff sign it. At the end of the cruise, you would redeem it for NCL Logo prizes like t-shirt, pen, etc. based on how many points you got. Enjoy your cruise!! Are there shows every night or are some shows audiance participation (i.e. Newlywed game, etc).
