Ovation OTS Diamond members

Cruising around New Zealand on ovation over Xmas this year. Any diamond members tell me if the diamond lounge is overflowing with members at this time of the year

If there are more Diamonds then the lounge holds they will start to close some of the other venues and use them as private party overflow. We were on Allure with 1500 diamond members and they used Jazz on 4, Blaze and Dazzles each night as event locations. Plus they now add a 3 drink voucher each day to your sea pass card that is good in almost every bar on the ship during diamond hours. happy cruising

Hard to say for sure with a given itinerary and a given date, but all of our recent RCI cruises have had many D and higher members on board with the DL being very crowded.

 

And to be clear, the three drink vouchers are added on every ship and itinerary regardless of the number of D's and higher, and is one way to attempt to thin the crowds at the DL. RCI has been doing this for a couple of years now.

 

I think you will just have to wait and see once you are on board and decide you options for the cocktail hour at that point.
