Buying OBC

I'd like to go ahead and buy some OBC so I won't be shell shocked when the final bill arrives. I am using my CC on board for credit and pay the final bill. So do I just buy OBC for myself or do I have buy obc for DH & Kids too to use onboard? The kids I need to set a limit for....They will bankrupt me in the arcade.

You just limit what they can put on their card. No need to prepay. I can see buying OBC for a gift. Other than that, why give NCL your money early? It's going to cost what it cost.

I'd guess, if you're concerned about your budget, your going watch it on board whether or not you paid something in advance.

Budget not an issue, it is what it is. I am using a CC that has a 0% no interest until April 2019 for the first 90 days of purchases.....unfortunately the 90 days expire mid cruise. Sure I can pay it outright, or I wouldn't be cruising. I would rather use my extra monthly savings than go directly into my savings account. And as I said I hate that shell shocked feeling when that final bill hits, for once I would love to see only a couple hundred owed.

Can it be used in the casino without the 3% hit since it's a substitute for your own cash?
. No you are still charged the 3% if you take cash out at the casino. I always buy OBC because I love to owe nothing when I walk off the ship.

This is also a good reason to buy OBC.

That sounds like the perfect reason to do it!
