The "Spirits" offerings are rather limited. Can I request something that is not on the list and expect HAL to place it in my cabin on embarkation day? Anyone with experience with this?

If it's something they normally have in stock on the ship, yes. You may have to wait until you are onboard to be able to order it, but that's simple. Room Service should be able to take care of it. If not, then you can try to purchase your liquor in a bar.

If it's an obscure liquor that they don't normally carry, then probably not. It's worth trying, though; they may get some.

Just go to the Ocean Bar on embarkation day. Ask if they have your liquor and if you can buy a bottle via room service. Sometimes they have to check with the Beverage Manager.

If you call ships' services they can tell you. I wanted to pre-order a liquor for DH that was not on the list once and they said they had it and took the order over the phone, but it was not on the list you can choose online.

Thanks! It is always reassuring to hear from someone who has done it before. I will do that when we decide on what else we want.
