Nasmas Posted October 24, 2006 #26 Share Posted October 24, 2006 I began using the Crest White Strips about two years ago. The results are amazing. I had to do two boxes though, and my front bridge looked so discolored, I had to replace it. But, yes they work. I keep some on hand to use if my teeth start to look dingy again. They are certainly worth a try. I'm with the others. I've had massages, manicures and hairdos on the ship and was not happy with any one of them, plus the prices are ridiculous. Save your money for the casino or shopping in port.
jhannah Posted October 24, 2006 #27 Share Posted October 24, 2006 I can't help but wonder what's next? "The New You" treatment with Botox and the whole nine yards?
Cruisechik Posted October 24, 2006 #28 Share Posted October 24, 2006 My husband had it done on the Zandaam and it wasn't worth the cost. He was very disappointed with the results. There was slight whitening and he followed the upkeep instruction, which they said would whiten even more but it did not. Save your money.
RuthC Posted October 24, 2006 #29 Share Posted October 24, 2006 It is amazing what people will spend their money on. After this thread started I had my teeth done by my dentist, and have to say I'm thrilled with the results. I love to smile and had started to feel a bit self-conscious about it. Not any more! On my recent cruise I was grinning, smiling, and generally looking joyful all the time. I didn't mind all those pictures that got posted on the thread. I still wouldn't consider having it done on the ship, but would recommend the procedure if you're inclined. If you are going to do it, have your dentist or his/her hygenist handle the procedure. It can take years off one's face. But if you have any front crowns, forgetabout it.
