Status of Marriott Courtyard Coconut Grove

I understand that it is under renovations following hurricane Irma. It is totally off the grid. The Marriott site doesn't even show it. The hotel website says nothing about its status. Do any of the Miami locals have any information? Makes me wonder if it will remain a Marriott property.

...but not taking reservations and as you said there is no clue anywhere as to possibly when.

 

And I found nothing in local media. In fact the official business and tourist websites such as coconutgrove.com still have prominent ads. Some of which do redirect you to the Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove :rolleyes:

Dawn, I would find an alternative just to be on the safe side.

Thanks fishywood and Keith1010. My cruise is still several months out, but I will look elsewhere. Seems unusual that there isn't any information about the property out there. I thought that it might be a lower cost alternative to the downtown hotels for our traveling companions. We are using points so that wasn't a concern for us.
