NCL cruises to New Zealand

looking for opinions on taking NCL on a NZ cruise instead of Princess, Holland America or Celebrity.

The Jewel's current homeport is Sydney, AU. We just returned from a 13 day cruise that included 5 ports in NZ. All the ports were great.

I’m scheduled to cruise on Jewel Jan 21 out of Sydney on 10 cruise ( will end at Auckland N Z ) Second cruise on Jewel, First cruise in Australia- been there about 20 times before for business. Cruise is Sydney/Goolie/Tasmania (wife really wanted as loves cartoon “Taz” ( a bugs bunny nemisis)) Hey, its vacation.❤️[emoji16]... Then on to New Zealand, north and south islands, lots of Moiri and “hobbit” places. NCL has treated us well and so we are taking them. Ship cost and location were what we wanted

While on the Jewel earlier this year I read the shorex they were arranging, some really great ones there. One I found missing; take a helicopter ride from Tauranga to White Island. Expensive but you will be able to say you have walked on an active volcano.

I am leaving Friday for a short stay in Sydney before my NZ cruise for Christmas and New Year. I went with NCL because CAS waved my solo supplement.
